Terms and Conditions


  1. These terms and conditions apply to the relationship between the Jordan Ahli Bank (the Bank) and any client among the Bank’s clients (client) or any person who applies for electronic services, and for the purposes of their application, the following words and phrases have the meanings and connotations according to the following:
  2. I / we: the signatory / signatories of this application confirm our agreement to the conditions as documented below, for the use of the electronic services issued by you, and that we pledge and acknowledge to you the commitment to the following:
  3. Definitions: The following words and phrases, wherever mentioned in the document, shall have the meanings assigned below, unless the context indicates otherwise. A) The Bank: Jordan Ahli Bank. B) The Client: the client of Jordan Ahli Bank who has subscribed to the electronic banking services, whether he is an individual or a corporate personality. C) Service: the online services provided by the Bank to the client.

  • This application belongs to Jordan Ahli Bank and is dedicated for Jordan Ahli Bank clients only, if you are not a client of JAB, please do not download the application.

  • The client admits that he relinquishes the bank from any liability resulting from any malfunction or damage that might be caused to him as a result of his (the client) failure to comply with the terms and instructions related to the service provided by the bank or as a result of misuse of the service by him or any other party.

  • The bank, without any liability, shall have the right to reject any application to participate in the service without the need to give reasons.

  • In case the bank approves the request of the client to subscribe to the service, the bank provides the client with a customer ID and a closed envelope containing the pin code.

  • Immediately upon receipt of what was mentioned in the previous clause above, the client must ensure that the envelope is tightly closed, and otherwise the client must immediately review the branch that he deals with and inform the branch accordingly. In the event that the envelope containing the password is lost before use, then the bank is not responsible in case the client did not follow the mentioned procedures. As for confidentiality of the password, the client is solely responsible in this regard.

  • The client acknowledges that all transactions carried out through his identification code and password have been completed by him, and they have the consideration of official documents towards him. The client also acknowledges that the bank does not bear any responsibility resulting from any transaction carried out through the service, whatever is its type or source, as long as it is issued in accordance with the relevant conditions and codes.

  • In the event that the client knows that his identification code or password has been discovered by any other person, he must inform the bank accordingly through the communication channels authenticated and declared by the bank. The client remains responsible for all operations and transactions that take place using the identification code and password until the Bank receives official report.

  • The Bank is not responsible for any losses incurred by the client or others as a result for the client’s submission of account numbers transferred from/ to them in a wrong way. The client is solely responsible for checking and reviewing the account numbers, and the Bank is exempted from any liability that may arise as a result.

  • The costumer bears full responsibility in case of suspending any checks with objections over its fulfillment, and the bank bears no responsibility for that.

  • The client acknowledges / agrees that he will bear any damages or losses that may be caused to him as a result of the communication networks that are outside the control of the bank, including but not limited to: poor communication networks used by the client and / or poor transmission and / or failure / delay in the process of connecting to the service for any reason and / or network weakness and / or as a result of technical malfunctions and / or wrong use of the service by the client, beside other problems, without holding the least responsibility by the Bank.

  • The Bank has the right to make any amendment or change to the conditions, instructions and software related to the service and takes into account the notification of the client in this regard. Once the client is notified of the amendment or change and the service is used after the amendment, it is considered an acceptance and approval of the change or amendment, in order to avoid any objection by the client regarding this change or amendment.

  • In the event that the Bank decides, in accordance with its own circumstances, to impose any fees, commissions, and/ or fees on any of these services provided, and after notifying the client and obtaining his approval, he authorizes the Bank to record any of these expenses, commissions, and/ or fees on any of his accounts, otherwise the service is considered canceled.

  • In the event that the client requests a checkbook through the service, the Bank has the right to approve or reject the request. In the event of approval, the client authorizes the Bank to record the fees on his account and/ or his accounts, and the client must review his branch to receive the book in propria persona.

  • The client shall not exceed the daily maximum allowed limit for transfers and within the actual balance available in the accounts, according to the instructions of the Bank in this regard. Otherwise, the transfer request is considered cancelled and the Bank does not bear any responsibility resulting from the failure to implement the transfer request.

  • The client acknowledges that all transactions were done with his consent as long as the order was fulfilled according to the conditions, and therefore he cannot cancel any operation or transaction executed through the service, while reserving his right to submit any relevant objection.

  • Unless the Bank receives a written objection from the client within fifteen days from the date of any error, all performed transactions are considered valid.

  • The identification code and password are considered as a signature and acknowledgment by the client agreeing to implement any requests, services or orders for transfer, and therefore the client is solely responsible for all operations carried out through electronic channels, and no appeal is accepted that the passwords have been published and used by another party, noting that the client undertakes not to cause any harm to any identification code or password for banking services over the phone, data or programs accompanying the service, while bearing all the legal consequences in the event of a violation thereof.

  • The client acknowledges that in the event that it is later proven that there is an error in the information that he provided to the Bank and that is approved upon opening the account, for example: the email and mobile phone number, the client alone bears all the financial and legal responsibility that arises in the event of performing any financial transaction through this service, and in the event the client requests a change of his information and/ or a request to amend the service and/ or a request to reactivate the service, he must inform the Bank of that immediately by visiting the Bank in person, and updating his information, or sending a written letter accordingly. If the client requests to stop the service and is unable to attend to the Bank, he authorizes the Bank to temporarily stop the service, either through the branch, through the call center or through the electronic service, and the client acknowledges the authenticity of the voice call recordings.

  • The client is obliged to contact the Bank to reactivate the service in case it stops due to the repeated error more than 3 times using the password to enter the service.

  • The Bank is exempted from any liability arising from the client’s use of any software or hardware that displays the security and effectiveness of the service and leads to the disclosure of the client’s data.

  • The client authorizes the Bank to send the identification code and password to all electronic transactions through electronic communication channels, such as: the Internet, e-mail, and SMS messages via mobile phones, and according to the information included in the Bank’s regulations related to its clients.

  • The client is responsible for providing and maintaining his own devices and phones, including all expenses and charges required for their operation related to connecting his device via the electronic banking services, and any fees charged by any service provider for accessing the Internet.

  • The Bank has the right to add any fees and/ or commissions to use the electronic channel and benefit from the services provided through it, where the client’s approval is obtained in advance, according to the list of fees and commissions that the Bank approves from time to time.

  • The Bank has the right to refuse to implement any procedure and/ or instructions provided by the client, mentioning that the Bank clarifies the justifications and reasons for refusal (for clarification: the reason may be that the requirement is not in accordance with the applicable laws or banking practices, or due to anti-money laundering regulations). Also, the Bank will not bear any responsibility whatsoever for its inability to conduct and/ or implement any of the approved instructions for a reason due to technical problems or force majeure.

  • The client accepts, consents and undertakes to preserve the confidentiality of the credentials including the identification code and password of the electronic banking services, whether issued by the Bank or which the client creates, and the client acknowledges that if the mobile phone is damaged, lost, stolen, the password and/ or E-mail is lost or stolen, then he is obliged to inform the Bank as soon as possible with full responsibility for it, and the client bears any leakage related to the information of his account, or whatsoever results due to the leakage as a result of an error in using his mobile phone or downloading any programs or applications on his mobile phone.

  • The client acknowledges that the Bank, its affiliates, and Bank employees are not responsible for any losses, damages, financial claim, or otherwise resulting from the use of the identification code and password, and the client is required to notify the Bank (by phone/ in writing) if it becomes clear to him that the identification code and password have become notified to others, so that the Bank can take the necessary procedures according to the rules, and the client is responsible for all transactions and instructions issued by him until the Bank receives the notification from the client, and the client loses his right to any claim for any losses or damages resulting from the disclosure of confidential information and/ or information received via his mobile phone in case this was due to the possession of his mobile phone by another person.

  • The Bank has the right to cancel these services at any time provided that the client is notified in advance. The client may cancel his subscription to electronic services through submitting a written request to the Bank, with the client’s responsibility for the transactions, operations and services that were completed at maximum until the end of the same business day from the date when the Bank receives the cancellation request.

  • The Bank does not make any guarantees or pledges regarding quality, speed, performance, accuracy or otherwise, mention that the electronic services system is not guaranteed to be devoid of faults or defects, and the client acknowledges that the Bank is responsible for all matters related to this without any encroachment or negligence by the Bank.

  • The client reserves his right to object to the transfers made through this service by him and in accordance with the stipulations, instructions and laws in force.

  • The data and information received by the client from the Bank or any provider is documented, and the client is provided with it on the basis of making possible efforts to ensure the convenience of the client, but it is not guaranteed, and therefore the Bank is not responsible for any lack or inaccuracy of those data and information, or its completeness or availability, or the time of its arrival, or any other decision made using that data and information.

  • The Bank is not be responsible for any computer virus, or problems related to the information provided arising from services provided by any information-providing party, or may arise from the client's personal device. The Bank assumes no responsibility for any hacking or piracy.

  • The client bears all responsibility in the event that he stops any checks subject to non-payment, and the Bank does not bear any responsibility towards that.

  • The Bank offers to provide electronic banking services for corporate and / or joint accounts after all authorized signatories sign company and/ or joint accounts on the e-services subscription application form, and collect their signatures together on an authorization form delegating and authorizing one of them or another person to use the electronic banking services, where the user ID and password are represented through their signature together and in solidarity, and no appeal is accepted that the identification code and password have been published or circulated by any of the partners and/ or parties of the joint accounts.

  • The client acknowledges his understanding that his transactions may not be carried out within the expected time frame due to the amount of unexpected communications across the network or their interruption, which may lead to a delay in the transmission of information that is outside the Bank's will and responsibility.

  • This agreement is governed and regulated by the laws in force in the State of Palestine, and any of its provisions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Palestinian courts.

  • The client acknowledges and agrees that upon signing this agreement to subscribe to electronic banking services, he will have reviewed, read and agreed to the terms and conditions of the required services or transactions and agrees to adhere to them and act according to them.

  • The client’s approval of these terms and conditions means authorizing the Bank to inquire about the client via the system of returned checks for the use of relevant services.

  • It is understood that the use of this service relates only to the account holder and the client undertakes not to use this service by persons listed on the global lists or use the service to conduct operations for the benefit of people listed on the global lists, and that the client undertakes to abide by all instructions and laws against money laundering and terrorist financing, especially Law 20/2015 and its amendments.

  • The client must take all security measures on his device or mobile phone as recommended by the Bank from time to time, otherwise he will bear the risks, consequences and losses associated with him, which may arise from or in connection with his device or mobile phone, and the use of the banking service through any of these devices, and among these measures: Not writing or recording your bank account details (identification code, password) in a way that allows another person to view and understand them, and the password level must be strong in terms of security and difficult to guess. Be careful and ensure that no one else knows your security details when preparing or entering them. Choose a password for the bank account and do not choose passwords similar to another accounts on the Internet. Ensuring that no other person can access your device or mobile phone, by using the biometric access feature (fingerprint) and not recording (fingerprint) of another person on your device, while bearing responsibility for any payments or losses resulting from leaving your device in unsafe mode. Do not use the face authentication feature on your device if you have a Siamese twin. Do not take action to disable security features on your mobile device, which may cause pirating and hacking of bank information. Do not disclose the security details of your account to anyone else. Change the security details immediately and inform the Bank in the event that another person is suspected of having access to the electronic banking service account. Log out of the service application once you have finished using the banking services, and do not leave the application running in the background. Update the application when you use the service in case you are notified of a new update. Be wary of any suspicious email that gives you the opportunity to obtain sums of money for services or for using your account to transfer funds to it, as the Bank will not request any confidential information related to your account. Avoid using the Ahli Online Internet Banking Service or Ahli Mobile Application through modified devices (Jailbreak, root) as it increases the chance of hacking. Download antivirus software to the smart device. Download the application through secure official stores only, and do not download it from other unofficial stores. Responsibility to inform the Bank in case your mobile phone number or other contact numbers change. Delete the application if you want to replace or dispose of the device or mobile phone.

  • The client acknowledges the validity of the Bank’s books and records, so that it is considered conclusive and binding evidence in this field, and has no right to challenge it or object to it, and waives its right to direct the decisive oath to the Bank and/ or request that its books and records be presented to any court and/ or the request to conduct accounting expert report on it.

  • The Palestinian courts are the courts that are competent to hear any dispute that may arise and that is related to the application and/ or interpretation of these terms and conditions or as a result of using the service.

  • Endorsement I, the undersigned, acknowledge that all the data provided in this application are true information and in the event that it is proven otherwise, I bear all legal responsibility for that, and I also acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms and conditions for electronic services attached to the application and have comprehended and understood their content and agree to be bound by what is stated in them and with any modifications.
